The Greenbank Shopping Centre, a single-level 3970m2 neighbourhood hub anchored by a Woolworths and 17 specialty stores, is set for a significant transformation. Ideally located between the Covella and Everleigh communities, the centre will benefit from upcoming developments, including a new library, community facility, health hub, new school, and train station.
Region Group, the owner of Greenbank Shopping Centre, has proposed a demand-driven redevelopment and major expansion to establish it as the area’s primary Town Centre. The expansion will utilise the vacant land along Pub Lane, adding a full-line supermarket, multiple additional retail tenancies, more parking, and a large-format discount department store, enhancing food and grocery options for locals.
The redevelopment will also include updates and upgrades to the existing centre, such as a refreshed building façade, improved landscaping, and enhanced parking and amenities. With a project value of $226 million, the redevelopment is expected to be completed by late 2026.
